Origin of "Blind Man's Buff"

The name of our film trailer originated back in the days of the original investigation into the Jack the Ripper case. This cartoon was published in a national newspaper to inflame and to mock the police for their implied incompetence in the case. Due to the inability to find and arrest Jack the Ripper despite common links and evidence, the press presented the negative view of the metropolitan police. We thought this would be a good name for our film as we were focusing on the police and investigators of the time and there inability to stop the murders and the press themselves are represented by the character Press Officer Carter.
